Building Troubles

I have a few noobish questions: 1. Does your build radius expand over time for new bases, and if so how? 2. How Far Apart should your bases be(few per state, few per county, etc.)

Your base size expands based in things you build. In the early game, you can build up to 4 improvements. If you build ones that give you influence, the size of your base increases. You can build up to 6 improvements once you can build warehouses. The largest base influence you can have is 361, and only later in the game when you have warehouses and distribution centers.

You goal is to build so you have a good mix of influence and income, while also throwing in some agents. Gaining TIB is the key to victory and your ability to play with little or no cash. You only gain TIB in new areas. You can tear down bases right after you gain TIB if you don't want to leave a base there. It warns you about a penalty, but you just lose the same base building points that you just gained by building, so it is a wash. Essentially, you only lose the money you spent building the base, but that is a good trade for TIB.

    That should get you started.
