Can't get location thing to work

  This problem started around yesterday. Now the location indicator is always either gray or red for me, even after I force close and reopen the app, restarted my iPad, or uninstall and reinstall the app! I still have iOS 6.1.2 because another game that I play will cause my account to be reset when I upgrade to iOS 7, and will completely lock me out if I upgrade to iOS 8! What to do?

  Because you redownloaded it, maybe it doesnt have the permissions to access it? Or maybe its a problem with your wifi/internet

  My wifi is OK (I recently used google earth on my iPhone), and the problem happened before I redownloaded it. I also made sure it has permission, but the location indicator's still red currently
