  A kid in Western Australia stabbed his teacher with a pencil. He also punched her several times. He can't be charged because he is under 10 years old. What do you think?

  That's a lame law. That teacher should be able to sue that punks parents and send him to kiddie jail.

  He shouldnt get away with it free. Locking him up is to extreme. Maybe spending a short spell in kiddie jail ? "Rehibilitation" is probably more important then actual punishment.

  At such an early stage... I agree. But there must be a punishment so he understands the severity of his actions.

  Psychopathic kids should go to jail, mental hospital, or at least have a few fingers chopped. Parents should be investigated thoroughly.

  I agree. Mental evaluations are a necessity, but it does come down to how the child is raised and what the parents allow their children to be exposed to. Investigate the hell out of those parents.
