  Considering some of the old hop bases from those who were able to hang on to the their extra build point skills for two years were about 108 miles, I'd say it's pretty damn far.

  From what I have seen, there were many others with a long hop that were never in Illuminati, as well as many in Illuminati without the long hop.

  If they really wanna fix the game they should prevent all the players running negative income from using portals and building bases. That had to be a glitch that was never corrected.

  Does negative income exist? Could you just choose not to collect it while spending your reserved cash on bases?

  Yeah that's what they are doing. Not collecting the income because they don't make enough to support their agents and upkeep. Then they run missions to build bases.
